HELLO!
I’m Emma, a former NASA scientist turned independent space analyst, publisher, and science communicator. I hold a PhD from the University of Cambridge, did postdoctoral research at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Caltech, and now explore the crossroads of space, geopolitics, and society.
I’m the director of The Space Republic, a media platform on space geopolitics, and a visiting professor of Space Communication at AGH University of Krakow. Previously, I was Editor-in-Chief and radio host at SpaceWatch.Global.
I also created Nobody Cares About Your Satellite, a monthly newsletter dissecting space marketing and communication in all its (sometimes absurd) forms.
I’ve been interviewed by the BBC and consulted on space matters for the Financial Times and The Economist. I’ve called London, San Francisco, and LA home. Now I live in Milan.
Want to hire me or just have a question? Email me. I do reply.
